The Chinese Government sanctioned the Yixing Bureau of Sport to host the 2013 International Invitational Chinese-style Wrestling (Shuai Jiao) Championships, in Yixing, Jiangsu, China. The event was a tremendous success.
Shuai Jiao Masters from around the world were invited to attend the inaugural meeting of the World Chinese-style Wrestling (Shuai Jiao) International Development forum.
Master Antonio Langiano, President of the ESJU represented the interests of the European nations at this historic event stating the European perspective in a speech to the Development Forum.
London was selected as the city to host the next open international championships from 8 to 9 June 2013 (registration on 7 June 2013). More information. |

Governance and Policy
The European Shuai Jiao Union (ESJU) is the offical govering body for Chinese-style wrestling (Shuai Jiao) in Europe.
The Council is responsible for the achievement and delivery of the ESJU objectives.
The ESJU governance is based on constitution and supported by policy Statements.
Technical Assessment
The ESJU technical assessment has been developed to ensure that the highest coaching standards are maintained. |

Tournaments and Events
The ESJU organise International events and seminars in association with International Chinese Kuoshu Federation (ICKF) and the Wrestling Association of the People's Republic of China.
The events are organised in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of Shuai Jiao sanctioned by the ESJU.
The ESJU maintain a record of the official results of tournaments and events taking place in the European theatre.

The ESJU organises seminars and events with a view to increase the polularity of Shuai Jiao in Europe.
